Biography
Josh and Emily Davidson live in Crestview, Florida where Josh serves as the Worship
Ministry Leader at The Hub City Church. His gifts in music, teaching, administration, and
shepherding have been affirmed by his leadership. A skilled vocalist and multi-
instrumentalist, Josh also brings experience in music production and mixing, blending
creative excellence with a heart for God-centered worship. Both Josh and Emily
attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Beyond his musical talents, Josh has a deep love for discipleship and community. He
leads a small group at his church and is passionate about investing in the spiritual
growth of others. Josh and his wife, Emily, enjoy life together through board games,
caring for plants, thrift shopping, and meaningful time with friends and family.
Josh’s vision for worship is to magnify the greatness of God in Jesus Christ through the
power of the Holy Spirit, by skillfully combining God’s Word with music and technology
- thereby motivating the body to proclaim the truth of God’s Word, cherish God’s
presence among us, and to leave with a strengthened commitment to live on mission
for God’s glory.

Job Description
Director/Pastor of Worship and Media Profile:
A. A Godly man who demonstrates the Fruit of the Spirit and a personal walk with God.
B. Elder-qualified (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9).
C. Agrees fully with Crosspoint’s doctrinal statements and governance documents.
D. Generally supports the current ministry philosophies of Crosspoint Bible Church.
E. Gifted in the planning and leading of God-honoring, Biblical, participatory, culturally relevant worship.
F. Musically gifted, able to teach and lead others.
G. A humble man who submits to authority and connects well with people.
H. Preferably, at least 5 years’ experience in leading worship with a full band.
Director/Pastor of Worship and Media Job Description:
A.Role/Accountability
The Director of Worship and Media reports directly to the Lead Pastor, under the authority of the Board of Elders. The Director of Worship and Media will oversee the Worship Team and related activities, delegating as appropriate. The Director of Worship and Media will provide oversight to any media-related staff that may be hired.
B.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.Worship Services
The Director of Worship and Media will oversee, plan and implement all aspects of our corporate worship time, including the music, prayer, Scripture reading, media and other elements. Our worship should be biblically sound and culturally relevant, while incorporating psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.
2.Shepherding
The Director of Worship and Media will promote corporate and personal worship, teaching biblical worship principles to the congregation. Delegating when appropriate, he will engage others in participatory worship whenever possible, to include special services and groups such as choirs or instrumental ensembles.
3.Leadership
The Director of Worship and Media will provide leadership to all worship team members, scheduling them for service, assisting them when possible, and providing them with adequate materials (music, etc.). He will ensure that all rehearsals are conducted in an efficient and effective manner.
4.Media
The Director of Worship and Media will oversee all media aspects of Crosspoint Bible Church, including media for worship, streaming services, our website, logos and other designs.
5.Administration
The Director of Worship and Media will administer all of the required worship and media related logistics, to include maintaining equipment, developing annual budgets, contracting work as needed, providing required reporting, etc.
