Lead Pastor

We are a multi-generational evangelical Bible church of about 400 attenders in Omaha, NE, known for solid Biblical teaching, for joyful Word-centered worship, for strong commitment to discipleship and global missions, for being a caring community where members support and pray for each other, and for ministries across the spectrum to men, women, and children.

We are seeking an elder-qualified individual to fulfill the role of Lead Pastor. He will serve as our main teaching pastor, and provide skilled leadership and oversight as a co-elder, under the authority of a congregationally-affirmed board of elders. They will work together to delegate responsibilities as appropriate.


A Godly man who demonstrates the Fruit of the Spirit and a personal walk with God
Elder-qualified (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9)
Demonstrates a calling to pastoral ministry
Agrees fully with Crosspoint’s doctrinal statements and governance documents
Generally, supports the current ministry philosophies of Crosspoint Bible Church
Gifted in and committed to expository preaching that is practical and applicable
A servant leader who values teammates and provides opportunities for growth
A humble man who submits to authority and models accountability
Connects well with people, engages with staff and congregation members
Preferably, a graduate from a reputable evangelical seminary
Preferably, at least 10 years’ experience in local church ministry
Experienced in team building and mentoring.
